C.E. King Middle School, Archaeology Now and Solel International Join Forces bring much needed interactivity of Arts & Culture to Northeast Houston.
At Solel International, it is our job to provide exposure of cultural and visual arts programming to those that need it. We are thankful that we were able to connect with Archaeology Now and C.E. King Middle School to give those affected by Hurricane Harvey a chance to experience a world beyond their own. On this Historical Day children are exposed to a replica of a 2000 year old Bolivian boat before it permanently lands in the Houston Museum of Natural Science.
The children learned the history of this exhibit giving them an up-close and personal experience with world history. They applied arts and technology by drawing what they saw which broaden their since of perspective.
