Interview with Founder on TEDx Live Stream

Updated: Mar 18

with Tre Magazine Correspondent

This should be the Beginning of Something Special. To be part and partial to the Ted Talks TEDx Platform is simply amazing. How do you feel about being on such a well known educational platform?

-Tre Magazine

I was simply honored and ecstatic all at the same time. I wasn't thinking so much about it until I realized together, Al-Bayan Bilingual School, TEDx, Solel International, International Rapper and Performer Richmond "Hotline" Shaw, all helped me to become TEDx's first Moorish American Speaker. That's Huge! I'm just thankful to have that kind of international representation.

Eclipse the Earthstar

Oh wow, that is so cool! You must have such an ancient past.

-Tre Magazine

[Humbly Smiles] Yes. We do.

- Danny Asberry El [Eclipse the Earthstar]

How did it happen? Its really tough to get a spot on that platform! Please give us details.

-Tre Magazine

No problem! At the time Solel International expanded its mission in reviving communities through arts and culture. During the rise of the pandemic, we were still fortunate to team up with Williamsburg Enterprises to provide work and safe spaces for artists and other creatives. We've just executed the Old Spanish Trail/South Union Area's First Augmented reality mural and Barret Station, Texas' Black Towns Matter 100 Yard Murals with artists, tech specialists and other creatives, namely Michel FG, David Romo, Bao Pham, Julian (Genesis) Beasley, Uncover Everything App Company, Sensei Shui, Hector Han$o Sanchez and myself. After receiving State Recognition for our works from Commissioner Rodney Ellis' Office, Then All of a sudden, from Kuwait, Kevin Fullbrook from the Al-Bayan Bilingual School wanted me to speak on the TEDx Platform. I thought someone was pranking me but he was not.

- Danny Asberry El [Eclipse the Earthstar]

He mentioned that our works impact people around the world and he's seen the success of our Festival Moro Americana especially the collaboration we shared with the wonderful Her Highness Shaikha Abeer Al Khalifa, Solel International, Revalushion Management Agency and a host of others. He then said a famous rapper referred you to speak on our platform and he sent us your info and when we saw all what you were doing, we were happy to bring you aboard. When he mentioned the Rapper is Hotline (Whos huge oversees), I was humbled. You never know who's eyes are on you.

- Danny Asberry El [Eclipse the Earthstar]

Well Amen to that. I am very familiar with your work, and you do so much. Can you tell the audience out there what did you speak on?

-Tre Magazine

Yes. I spoke on Thriving on Turmoil and Six Things to do when you are in Turmoil or emotional Pain.

- Danny Asberry El [Eclipse the Earthstar]

Awesome and for the Readers I'll connect the TEDx Live Stream to this interview here.

-Tre Magazine

Okay, besides that, You've won two congressional awards for your music, you've covered suicide prevention and you promote the arts wherever you go! Tell me what is the next project?

-Tre Magazine

How did you know all that? [He laughs] Wow. Well of course you know about my single "I need you to live" on Vevo and now Solel International is joining me to to create a campaign called Children of Paradise as visual and musical representations the show us a world without our current lables. There will be more coming soon and you will the first I call.

- Danny Asberry El [Eclipse the Earthstar]

Exciting News! We will be looking for more to come. Mr. Asberry El, we also have a video Al-Bayan Bilingual School, wanted to share.

-Tre Magazine

Wow, just no words. I'm humbled. I need that love. [He smiles]
