Education: Public Awareness for Empowered Communities
Our Philosophy
“We believe that public awareness is a critical catalyst for advancing educational equity and opportunity. Our initiative integrates Arts, Technology, Media, targeted training, and disaster response to create holistic, scalable solutions that empower underserved youth and communities. By combining these elements, we foster innovative learning environments and resilient communities aligned with the Foundation’s focus on education, health, and family economic stability.”
What We Do
At SOLEL International, our Comprehensive Education and Outreach Program is designed to build safer, healthier, and more resilient communities. We empower individuals and families through accessible, innovative education rooted in our four pillars: Arts, Culture, Education, and Preservation.
Key Initiatives
1. Disaster Preparedness & Community Correspondents
We recruit and train local residents, especially seniors and vulnerable groups, as Community Correspondents using special partnered programming.
These trusted community members share accurate information and provide support before, during, and after emergencies.
Implementation:
Multi-lingual, accessible educational materials
Regular workshops and emergency drills
Integration with local schools and community centers
Certification for Community Correspondents
2. Innovative Public Awareness Campaigns
Augmented Reality Murals:
We create public art that doubles as an interactive learning tool.
Community members scan murals with their phones to access vital information on disaster preparedness, health, education and local resources through our app.
Media & Technology Integration:
Educational videos, digital workshops, and online resources are available for all ages and backgrounds.
3. Health, Wellness & Economic Empowerment
Artist Healthcare Membership:
Affordable health coverage for artists, creatives, and students, starting at $120/month.
Job Placement & Training:
Career development, job placement, and skill-building for youth, veterans, and adults seeking new opportunities.
Specialized Programs:
Support for disabled veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, and those in recovery.
